The European Commission is delighted to announce that applications are now open for 10 scholarships for Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots to study from 2022 to 2024, at one of four UWC schools, UWC Adriatic (in Italy), UWC Maastricht (in the Netherlands), UWC Mostar (In Bosnia) and UWC Robert Bosch College (in Germany).

The EU Scholarship Programme for Cypriot Youth at UWC aims to contribute to building a bridge of mutual understanding between Cypriot communities. This programme is for students at grades 11 and 12 of secondary school to study the residential International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, focusing on inter-community dialogue and reconciliation.

Cypriot secondary school students born between 2005 and 2006 can apply for this Scholarship Programme until 31 January 2022. Applicants will be selected in line with UWC’s selection process based on their intellectual curiosity and motivation, active commitment, social competence, resilience, personal responsibility and integrity.
