Today, Commissioner for Home Affairs Ylva Johansson  and Minister of the Interior Nicos Nouris for the Cypriot authorities signed a Memorandum of Understanding and detailed Action Plan to support and strengthen migration management in Cyprus.

Visit of Margaritis Schinas, Vice-President of the European Commission, to Cyprus

The Memorandum was signed in the presence of Vice-President for Promoting our European Way of Life, Margaritis Schinas, and President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades. The implementation of the action plan will be supported by the EU's Home affairs Agencies: European Union Agency for Asylum, Frontex and Europol.
