Recruitment for the next Citizens’ Panel on a new European budget is underway

You can participate in EU policymaking! 

The European Commission has launched a recruitment campaign to randomly select citizens in all 27 EU Member States. The aim of this campaign is to invite citizens, contacted by our partners, to register their interest in joining a European Citizens’ Panel on a new European budget fit for our ambition. 

The recruitment is being conducted using a door-to-door approach and is managed by the Sortition Foundation, the official partner of the European Commission. Ultimately, out of all registered citizens 150 will be randomly selected to represent EU demographic diversity and invited to come to Brussels. There they will work together to formulate concrete recommendations on a new European budget fit for our ambition.
