EU wraps up week of intense engagement on global issues at the United Nations

Today, the EU wraps up a week of intense discussions and engagements with world leaders on the most pressing global issues. Commissioner Jessika Roswall will participate in the high-level side event ‘Road to Biodiversity COP17’ organised by Armenia and the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity.

Yesterday, among the main highlights of the EU's participation at the UN General Assembly, High Representative/Vice-President Kaja Kallas represented the EU at the G20 Foreign Ministers meeting. Read her remarks. Commissioner Glenn Micallef delivered a statement on behalf of the EU at the High-Level Meeting to Commemorate the 30th anniversary of the World Programme of Action for Youth. Watch his statement on UNTV.
